Contracts on 511 million dollars were signed by South Kazahstan businessmen with representatives of the largest enterprises of Turkey; more than 200 investors are interested in free economic zone conditions in Shymkent, Otyrar.kz reports.
"We like the conditions created for development of business in Southern Kazakhstan. Especially it concerns the taxation. I do desire to open an enterprises for production of footwear here," Hakan Demirzhi, the representative of the shoe company "Forelli" says.To search business partners the South Kazakhstan businessmen visited industrial centers of Turkey — the city of Izmir and Denizli. Signing of more than 30 large business projects in mechanical engineering, food and light industry became a result of the visit.
"We met representatives of the largest enterprises. We examined work of the enterprises. Most of all textile production attracted our attention. I think that it will be pertinent in the south of Kazakhstan to open complex cotton-mill.
